A Message from our Communications and Marketing Department

Please know that Springside Chestnut Hill Academy places tremendous value in our communication between home and school. The primary method of sharing information with parents about important events and programs is our weekly Virtual Mailbag (VMB). Please be sure to refer to this electronic newsletter, sent on Friday afternoons, for all-school information (found on the landing page) as well as information specific to your daughter's grade level and slideshows of school life (found on the Lower School page).

Japanese Reports and End of Year Pictures

The last week of school is upon us. We are giving our Japanese presentations and book group performances in class.
The girls are amazing researchers! I have been very impressed with the amount of information they have collected and the enthusiasm they have demonstrated on these projects.

Here are a few more pictures to give you a glimpse at how far your daughters have come. They truly seem like third graders to me now... ready for the work of fall, ready to focus on more challenging tasks, and ready to celebrate all that they have learned this year. They all seem proud of their year in second grade... aware that they have given it their best... aware at how special this class has been. In the words of Darcie, "This is a perfect class." I could not agree more. They have learned over the year to be more independent, to be more patient and flexible. They have learned the importance of making good decisions, to care about one another and our community, and to ask for help when it is needed. The girls of 2D have grown so much in our relatively short time together and I enjoyed having them in my class.
