A Message from our Communications and Marketing Department

Please know that Springside Chestnut Hill Academy places tremendous value in our communication between home and school. The primary method of sharing information with parents about important events and programs is our weekly Virtual Mailbag (VMB). Please be sure to refer to this electronic newsletter, sent on Friday afternoons, for all-school information (found on the landing page) as well as information specific to your daughter's grade level and slideshows of school life (found on the Lower School page).

Storybird- Creative Digital Online Stories

Girls have been working on creating and "publishing" creative stories online.  Something that is so wonderful and unique about this site (Storybird.com) is that girls can view and comment on one another's work from home.

Here is an example of one story that Solveig made and emailed to me.  Parents may need to help "publish" the stories once the work is done.  Be sure to scroll done and select "public" so that we can all enjoy their creations.  If you have any questions on how to do this please let me know.

This is an optional activity and at times girls will have the opportunities to create these stories during our computer lab time.  Girls should use their best "kid writing" so mistakes are fine.
