Please know that Springside Chestnut Hill Academy places tremendous value in our communication between home and school. The primary method of sharing information with parents about important events and programs is our weekly Virtual Mailbag (VMB). Please be sure to refer to this electronic newsletter, sent on Friday afternoons, for all-school information (found on the landing page) as well as information specific to your daughter's grade level and slideshows of school life (found on the Lower School page).

Important Dates


Please make sure to SAVE THE  FOLLOWING DATES:
 
Due to the storm, The Dragon Ball has been postponed to Friday, February 22nd,6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Our Lower School celebration of Where the Mountain Meets the Moon will take place in the Middle School Gymnasium (lower level—follow the dragon prints!) The third grade Class Parents are working together to create a culminating event to remember—games, dancing, light snacks, and fun for the whole family! You are encouraged to wear red for “good fortune” or blue for “longevity”! Please bring a box of pasta or canned food for “admission”! Thank you in advance to our many third grade parent volunteers!
  • Thursday, February 14 – Valentine’s Day. Girls will exchange Valentine cards. Reminder: please do not send in food—we will have a Valentine’s fun token for each student to enjoy.
  • Monday, February 18 – School is closed for President’s Day.
  • Wednesday, February 20, 7:00 pm – Bestselling author Po Bronson will be speaking about his brand-new book Top Dog: The Science of Winning and Losingin the Upper School Auditorium. Please bring friends and neighbors for this special event!
  • Saturday, March 9, 6:00 pm – SCH Parents Association community event: “BETTER TOGETHER”
  • Wednesday, March 13, 7:00 pm – Special premiere screening of 10 x 10’s Girl Rising in the Upper School Auditorium. Girl Rising is a new feature-length film about the strength of the human spirit and the power of education to change the world.
