Please know that Springside Chestnut Hill Academy places tremendous value in our communication between home and school. The primary method of sharing information with parents about important events and programs is our weekly Virtual Mailbag (VMB). Please be sure to refer to this electronic newsletter, sent on Friday afternoons, for all-school information (found on the landing page) as well as information specific to your daughter's grade level and slideshows of school life (found on the Lower School page).

Today is World Read Aloud Day

Today we continue to hear stories read aloud in 2D.  During snack girls have enjoyed hearing stories. Currently we are listening to Matilda, by Roald Dahl on YouTube.

At the end of the day, we will gather together on our classroom rug and continue listening to the wonderful, age-appropriate story of Toys Come Home, the prequel to Toys Go Out.

Perhaps tonight, to further honor World Read Aloud Day, you and your daughter can snuggle up for a few minutes and read aloud a favorite story.  It is still a wonderful and important experience for young readers to be read to.
