Please know that Springside Chestnut Hill Academy places tremendous value in our communication between home and school. The primary method of sharing information with parents about important events and programs is our weekly Virtual Mailbag (VMB). Please be sure to refer to this electronic newsletter, sent on Friday afternoons, for all-school information (found on the landing page) as well as information specific to your daughter's grade level and slideshows of school life (found on the Lower School page).

Our 2nd Grade Hike/End of Year Party with Jamie Lament

We had a terrific time yesterday with the whole 2nd grade class celebrating our year together.

Here are some quotes from the girls:
We had Nathan's hotdogs and s'mores.
The backpacks were SO heavy.  We had to carry firewood and food supplies.
Some parents came.  It was awesome!
We had to climb big rocks and we walked FIVE miles!
Also, we saw a very pretty river.
Lilly said she fell almost three times!  Ava, too.
We saw a bunch of dogs.
We jumped on big rocks.
It was really fun!
We loved the food!
We thought it was really nice that we could make our food over a fire.
When we walked back it was actually much easier.
