A Message from our Communications and Marketing Department

Please know that Springside Chestnut Hill Academy places tremendous value in our communication between home and school. The primary method of sharing information with parents about important events and programs is our weekly Virtual Mailbag (VMB). Please be sure to refer to this electronic newsletter, sent on Friday afternoons, for all-school information (found on the landing page) as well as information specific to your daughter's grade level and slideshows of school life (found on the Lower School page).

Upcoming Dates and Information


-Global Innovation White Elephant Sale - 8:00 to 3:00 on Sun., Oct. 20th - Vare Field House
-Book Fair - starts on CC - Tuesday, Oct. 29th through Thursday, Oct. 31st - fabulous books from Children's Book World - who will be sharing many of their favorites with the Lower School students on Monday, Oct. 28th with "Book Talks!"
-Rachel Simmons is returning to SCH - Parent Night - Tuesday, Oct. 29th - 7:00 p.m. Location TBD
-Halloween Parade - Thursday, Oct. 31st - 8:25 a.m. - on the Turf Field #2 (weather permitting). Starting a new tradition - Seniors walking with PreK and K students in costume! Both Lower Schools will circle the turf field once and then head back down the brick sidewalk!  Parents please have your daughters arrive in costume (regular school clothes underneath) and to bring a labeled bag for their costume at the end of the parade.  After the parade you are welcome to pick up their costumes and to visit the Book Fair! Also, please remember no candy or food treats for Halloween - we have a cute Halloween token for each girl to take home at the end of the day!
