A Message from our Communications and Marketing Department

Please know that Springside Chestnut Hill Academy places tremendous value in our communication between home and school. The primary method of sharing information with parents about important events and programs is our weekly Virtual Mailbag (VMB). Please be sure to refer to this electronic newsletter, sent on Friday afternoons, for all-school information (found on the landing page) as well as information specific to your daughter's grade level and slideshows of school life (found on the Lower School page).

ColorCycle program and UNICEF

COLORCYCLE

As many of you know, SCH takes part in many service projects and we are very involved with recycling.  In an effort to combine these two initiatives, second grade is proud to present the Colorcycle program.  We (2nd grade) are the ambassadors for recycling and re-using our dried up markers.  Please take a minute (literally) to view this video as it explains the program and what we hope to accomplish.

You can help!   We will take all dried up markers (any brand) from home too!
Don't forget...if you have a large clear container, we will use these containers as our collection containers.

TRICK-OR-TREAT FOR UNICEF

2nd Grade is the UNICEF representative for the SCH community. We will be handing out the boxes before Halloween and collecting them after.  We will also be charged with the task of counting all of the money collected!  It's a service project and math lesson all wrapped up in one.  Please keep in mind that this is an optional endeavor.
I also added the UNICEF link in case you wanted to learn more about it.
