Please know that Springside Chestnut Hill Academy places tremendous value in our communication between home and school. The primary method of sharing information with parents about important events and programs is our weekly Virtual Mailbag (VMB). Philadelphia Rock Gym Oaks, PA 2nd Grade Field Trip

Every year the SCH second grade goes on an adventure to the Philadelphia Rock Gym for rock climbing.  Jamie LaMent, our SCH Lower School Outdoor Education Coordinator assists in challenging the girls to push beyond what they thought they could do.  This important work helps girls develop grit, persistence, and brings them outside of their comfort zone.  We were so proud of our girls for cheering each other on and displaying determination to go a little higher with each climb.
