A Special Smilebox for Grandparents and Special Friends Day

This afternoon, we had many guests visit our 2D classroom.
They girls displayed terrific manners and were enthusiastic about showing their relatives and special friends around the classroom. Visitors got a tour of our student designed Japanese Museum in the Flex Room. Everyone participated in a wheels and axel experiment and discussed gravity and friction during a science class with Mrs. Szalay and Mrs. Maloy. Many girls read their published creative stories and shared their digital portfolio pieces through the app SeeSaw on our iPads. Finally, girls took their guests to see their lower school art show pieces still on display. It was a great afternoon.
