A Message from our Communications and Marketing Department

Please know that Springside Chestnut Hill Academy places tremendous value in our communication between home and school. The primary method of sharing information with parents about important events and programs is our weekly Virtual Mailbag (VMB). Please be sure to refer to this electronic newsletter, sent on Friday afternoons, for all-school information (found on the landing page) as well as information specific to your daughter's grade level and slideshows of school life (found on the Lower School page).

The Work of Second Grade



We are busy publishing our Halloween Stories and will share our finished products soon.
The girls take our Reading/Writing Workshop time very seriously!

Our Everyday Math time is now
up to about an hour a day.
We begin in a whole group with the lesson using our SmartBoard.
Next, there is individual work at tables
working in our Math Journals,
working on Math Boxes (review and practice),
and small group or partner work.
Finally, we play math games to reinforce our new skills, when there is time.

This Friday, girls will be getting their new Springside Sisters!
We are partnered up with Ms. Moore's Kindergarten Class.
