A Message from our Communications and Marketing Department

Please know that Springside Chestnut Hill Academy places tremendous value in our communication between home and school. The primary method of sharing information with parents about important events and programs is our weekly Virtual Mailbag (VMB). Please be sure to refer to this electronic newsletter, sent on Friday afternoons, for all-school information (found on the landing page) as well as information specific to your daughter's grade level and slideshows of school life (found on the Lower School page).

Today we had the pleasure of meeting the abstract painter, Moe Brooker.  He was wonderful!  He talked with the girls about how he got started as an artist, what inspires him, how music influences him, and how music is so closely connected with art.  He also walked them through his process of painting and demonstrated this process.  Each second grader made their own mark on a blank canvas, then before our very eyes he pulled their marks together into a complete and finished work of art which he then gave to the school.  What an amazing and meaningful morning!  Thanks, Mr. Brooker!
