THE BOY OF THE
THREE-YEAR NAP
What did you learn from the process of turning this folktale into a
play and movie?
Maddi – I learned
that you can’t just make up things.
You have to follow what happens in the book and remember your
lines. Also, it’s a chance to
better get to know your friends.
It was a lot of work!
Franny – You
couldn’t just have it your way. If
you didn’t like someone’s way and they didn’t like your way, the two of you had
to compromise and we ended up having to compromise like five times! We did have some disagreements and some
difficulties but we didn’t end up having to go to the Conflict Corner.
Jazze- Sometimes
you can’t just plan things out by yourself. Sometimes you just have to do it and see if it works.
Taylor – I
learned that we have to listen to each other’s ideas and if we are not agreeing
on them than we have to compromise… like the way Jazze and I did. And we have to speak loud enough for
the audience to hear us and we have to work together as a team.
Special thanks to our Videographers, Kaia and Amanda.
We are working on editing the iMovie version of this production and hope to share it soon.
