A Message from our Communications and Marketing Department

Please know that Springside Chestnut Hill Academy places tremendous value in our communication between home and school. The primary method of sharing information with parents about important events and programs is our weekly Virtual Mailbag (VMB). Please be sure to refer to this electronic newsletter, sent on Friday afternoons, for all-school information (found on the landing page) as well as information specific to your daughter's grade level and slideshows of school life (found on the Lower School page).

Woodmere Art Museum and Shofuso Japanese Teahouse Field Trips

As you know this is a super busy time of year here in second grade.  We are finishing up our Japanese research presentations, watching group performances of Japanese Folktales, finishing various pieces of our language arts curriculum, and basically cramming in last bits of information and wisdom so your girls are fully prepared for third grade.  It has been a real pleasure getting to know this class and challenging them to be their best selves.  As is normal for each stage of development, there have been struggles, successes, challenges, and learning experiences that will help shape them as they grow as students and as human beings.  I hope they have learned a few valuable lessons from me along the way.

Please enjoy this last Smilebox and I hope to have DVD's burned for you by the end of next week of all the pictures from our school year together.  Please stop by and say hello next year and encourage your daughters to do the same.
