What
does Sportsmanship mean to you?
MAYA – Sportsmanship is not being mean
or having a bad attitude.
CHARLOTTE – Sportsmanship is being a
good friend. If you win, you
should still thank that other person for running because without them you would
just be running by yourself.
AVERY – Sportsmanship is helping
people.
ABBY – Sportsmanship is don’t be rude
to the other team by like saying,
“We won and you lost!”
KIAH – Sportsmanship is being a good
friend and lifting people up instead of bragging that you won.
YAYA – Sportsmanship is being nice to
others when you are competing.
EVA – Sportsmanship is where you… If I
see someone on the other side
fall down, or something, I’m going to
ask them if they are okay.
BEZI – Sportsmanship is not bragging to
others and if the other team loses, you tell them “Maybe you will win next
time.”
MIRA – If someone is sad because they
lost I would go up to them and say, “Maybe you will win next year!”
ELOISE – Don’t be mean to others when
you’re racing or when they lose.
Be kind. You should also be kind if they win.
ADINA – Sportsmanship is you don’t have
to cry when the other team wins.
You should just pat them on the back
and say “good job!”
AYANA – Sportsmanship is lifting people’s
spirits up.
