Colonial PA Plantation - October 1, 2015

On our field trip today all of 2nd grade went to the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation at Ridley Creek State Park. This annual adventure connects us to our social studies unit on Colonial Pennsylvania in a very hands-on way. We were fortunate the weather worked in our favor and the rain held off. Our boots still came in handy as we trudged among the farm animals.

The girls asked many wonderful questions and shared some great facts they already learned during our studies. Everyone kept a positive attitude as they tried out some of the daily chores of Colonial children.
